n the historic heart of Caravaggio, Dolciaria Quaranta celebrated its centennial by opening its doors to employees’ families, colleagues, friends, and community members in a festivity-filled event.
The day started with a guided tour for families, allowing immediate immersion into the story of Quaranta nougat, from its beginnings in our museum to the present-day laboratory production.
During the Family Day, we were honored to host distinguished guests such as Claudio Bolandrini, the Mayor of Caravaggio; Juri Imeri, the Mayor of Treviglio; and Don Giansante Imperatore of the Caravaggio Parish, highlighting the deep connection between Dolciaria Quaranta and its local community.
A Moment of Sharing and Passion
The Family Day provided a special opportunity not only to celebrate our anniversary but also to strengthen community ties and forge new connections.
Participants enjoyed an exclusive tour of our facilities, where both adults and children discovered the secrets of our famous nougat production, from the original 1924 recipe to contemporary production techniques.
An Immersive Nougat Experience
A highlight was the creation of a “Mega Nougat,” allowing attendees to get hands-on and shape warm nougat under the guidance of our master confectioners. This engaging activity was both fun and educational, showcasing the incredible skill required to craft our delicious nougats.
Fun for Everyone
The day was filled with music, singing, dancing, live performances, and a DJ, turning the event into a real celebration. For our younger guests, we provided inflatable play areas and entertainment activities, ensuring they fully enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
