KAT (Kontrollierte Alternative Tierhaltungsformen) is one of the most rigorous and recognized European certifications ensuring animal welfare in alternative, cage-free farming systems, with specific focus on egg production.
Each KAT-certified supplier follows strict criteria that include:

Barn-raised eggs
We use only eggs from barn-raised hens, ensuring animal welfare. This choice reflects our focus on ethics and sustainability, offering a product that is good in every sense.
Whole almonds and hazelnuts
We select only premium whole almonds and hazelnuts to enrich our nougats and brittles. Whole nuts retain their full aroma and texture, offering an intense and satisfying flavor in every bite.
Palm oil free
Quaranta products contain no palm oil. We have chosen more sustainable alternatives, respecting both the environment and the well-being of our consumers.
Gluten free
All our recipes are naturally gluten free, ideal for people with celiac disease or those who follow a gluten-free diet. We ensure maximum safety through controlled and certified production processes.
Artificial colorants free
